Fired WWE Star Reveals New Name

One recently released WWE star is planning for life after the company as they open their bookings and reveal their new ring name.

WWE cuts returned to the roster recently with five names initially believed to have been let go. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Xyon Quinn, Xia Li, Veer, Sanga, and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal had been released from their deals.

In the days following that news, it emerged that Von Wagner was also let go while an emotional Cameron Grimes revealed he had been released from the company.

Now it seems that one of those released stars is already making plans for when their non-compete clause expires as they reveal their post-WWE name.

Xia Li Planning For Life After WWE

Taking to social media, the star known as Xia Li in WWE has revealed she’ll now be taking independent bookings from July 18th as she changed her name to the phonetically similar Xia Lee:

More recent cuts by WWE saw several talents let go while Drew Gulak’s WWE exit has been the subject of much conversation with Triple H claiming his contract wasn’t renewed rather than him being released. Gulak had been the subject of an allegation of inappropriate behaviour by Ronda Rousey and had not appeared on WWE TV since that allegation became public.
