Finn Balor Wants First Time Ever Match With Current WWE Champion

Finn Balor

Finn Balor wants to test himself against a current WWE champion who has wrestled many fewer matches than he has.

As a pro wrestler for over two decades and with about a decade of experience in WWE, Finn Balor has wrestled a lot of big names. Currently, Balor is a WWE World Tag Team Champion with his good friend JD McDonagh on the Raw brand.

While Balor remains a focal point on Raw, there is a current superstar on WWE Smackdown who is getting a lot of attention and that’s Logan Paul, the United States Champion.

Logan Paul has held the US Title for over 250 days and even though he has only had two title defenses, Paul is a man who knows how to get heat from the crowd.

Balor spoke to IGN about how he would like to test himself against Paul.

“I’m very curious to get in there and test myself against everyone, and someone who I haven’t been in there with is Logan Paul. I’ll be very curious to see what he’s all about. I’m into the hype. I respect what he’s done so far, and I would like to test him in the ring.”

At SummerSlam, Logan Paul will be defending the US Title against LA Knight a match where many people will be predicting a title change.

Finn Balor Facing GUNTHER On Final Raw Before WWE SummerSlam

The former WWE Universal Champion Balor faces a tough test on the July 29th edition of Raw when he goes up against Gunther. It’s the same Gunther, who will challenge Balor’s Judgment Day stablemate Damian Priest this Saturday at SummerSlam.

Over the last few weeks, Gunther has made personal insults toward Priest by calling him street trash, leading to fans cheering Priest when he confronted Gunther about it. Could Balor be cheered as well? Tune in to Raw to find out.

Here’s what else WWE is advertising for the last Raw before SummerSlam.

* Seth Rollins to deliver Referee Instructions to CM Punk and Drew McIntyre

* Lyra Valkyria teams with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter to take on Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

* Xavier Woods looks to take down Karrion Kross

As always, TJRWrestling will have a full Raw review later this evening.
