Fan Video Shows FTR Greeting Adam Copeland After AEW WrestleDream Debut
A fan captured video of FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler excitedly celebrating with Adam Copeland following his AEW debut at WrestleDream.
At WrestleDream on October 1st, Adam Copeland shocked the world by making his debut in All Elite Wrestling. Just as his former tag team partner Christian Cage was about to deliver a one man con-chair-to to a fallen Sting, the familiar sounds of Metalingus rang out throughout the arena, eliciting a monstrous ovation from the Seattle crowd.
Copeland took the chair from Christian, teasing that he would deliver the blow to Sting himself. Instead, however, he attacked Nick Wayne, who’d turned on Darby Allin and joined Christian Cage just moments before. He then helped Sting to his feet and shook his hand.
Copeland’s first match is already set to take place on the October 4th episode of Dynamite where he’ll face Luchasaurus.
FTR Celebrated With Longtime Friend Adam Copeland
Following the Rated R Superstar’s blockbuster debut, he made his way up the ramp and went backstage. Waiting to greet him were longtime friends and current AEW World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. Fan footage captured the duo giving Copeland a group hug and clapping for him, welcoming him into the fold of All Elite Wrestling. The video can be seen below.

FTR were also in action at WrestleDream, defending their AEW World Tag Team Championships against Aussie Open. In the end, Cash Wheeler pinned Kyle Fletcher to retain the titles for his team. Unfortunately, Aussie Open’s Mark Davis suffered a broken wrist during the match.
