Ex-WWE Writer Believes It’s The “Perfect Time” For Sami Zayn To Be Betrayed
A former WWE writer thinks the company has now found the “perfect time” for The Bloodline to break everyone’s hearts and betray Sami Zayn.
At Survivor Series Sami Zayn made where his loyalty lies very clear as he nailed Kevin Owens with a low blow and Helluva Kick before leaving his former best friend at the mercy of Jey Uso to allow The Bloodline to pick up the win inside WarGames. Zayn has received rave reviews for his work with the group but many wonder how long the good times can last.
Speaking on his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer and Hollywood star Freddie Prinze Jr. explained why he thinks it’s telling that Sami Zayn is getting the spotlight now Vince McMahon has retired:
“He is the best thing in WWE. It’s not an indictment on Vince, but it is telling. He’s not what Vince McMahon would push as a top-shelf talent. To see him get just one opportunity and become the single most over wrestler outside of MJF … it’s telling.”
Freddie Prinze Jr. then added that following Zayn affirming his commitment to The Bloodline at Survivor Series, it’s now the perfect time for Roman Reigns to call for the family to turn on the Honorary Uce:
“Now would be the perfect time for them to turn on him after he’s completely earned their respect. They can stretch this out as long as they want, but it would be pretty crazy now if they turned him out and beat his ass. Because then we’d love Sami even more.”
