Ex-WWE Women’s Champion Addresses Rumored Obsession With Tony Khan
An ex-WWE Women’s Champion has found herself embroiled in a Twitter war over Tony Khan again.
AEW fans, especially, have previously accused Gail Kim of being “obsessed” with Khan, and this time is no different.
Earlier, the 48-year-old had been critical of how Riho was depicted in the promotion, resulting in fans calling out her fixation. Even Kenny Omega chimed in, accusing her of trying to win the Stamford promotion’s favor.
While the issue involved TNA Bound for Glory‘s attendance this time around, it somehow got sidetracked, with Kim’s “obsession” taking center stage.
The former WWE star replied to a fan’s tweet, which claimed the Bound for Glory attendance was much lower than what had been reported. To this, Kim wrote:
😂😂 to be fair, I believe all companies across the board exaggerate their numbers … ALLLL the time!
Another user replied and challenged her to prove it, to which she said that the fan wouldn’t believe it unless Tony Khan said it.
He won’t believe anything unless Tony tells him …. Let’s stop 🙂
The ex-WWE champion’s comment came to bite her, as another fan wrote that she was obsessed with Tony Khan, and that she should get help, resulting in her posting a reply.
I’m actually not. People do bring this up and I reply. Then I’m “obsessed”. I actually have had only pleasant and positive experiences with Tony. Not that many, but I he’s very nice. More like the company’s diehards are more obsessed https://t.co/e6kVy82CGr

Former WWE Champion Reveals Truth About AEW Contact
While being involved in an earlier Twitter war with fans, Gail Kim was accused of being bitter, as she wasn’t offered a job after being fired by TNA.
At the same time, BJ Bethel wrote on X that Kim had contacted several people in AEW about working there.
The ex-WWE star offered clarity that she had been in contact with one individual, but rejected their offer, as AEW wanted her to get back in the ring.
The real news about what happened with AEW since people will lie etc. Iwas saving it for interviews but oh well it’s now.I got one text from AEW when I was terminated from TNA. It was from Sonjay and inquiring more about whether I wanted to wrestle. I’m retired. End of story.
