Ex-WWE Veteran Praises Logan Paul’s Brilliance On The Microphone

Logan Paul

Logan Paul has been praised for his mic skills.

The 30-year-old star opened the July 25 episode of SmackDown, saying not-so-nice things about one of his SummerSlam opponents, Jelly Roll.

He was interrupted by Jelly Roll, who did not fail to give him a piece of his mind either.

Drew McIntyre then showed up and stood beside Paul with a big grin on his face, prompting Jelly Roll’s tag team partner Randy Orton to arrive before all of them started brawling.

A WWE veteran discussed being entertained by the segment, with emphasis on Logan Paul, who received heat in his hometown of Cleveland due to his antics.

Vince Russo appeared on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s BroDown podcast with Mac Davis and spoke highly not just about Paul, but also about Jelly Roll.

Here’s the problem. I enjoyed the hell out of this. There’s only one very small problem. These aren’t wrestlers, man. Honestly bro, Logan Paul and Jelly Roll are not wrestlers. Why are they better than the wrestlers? Can somebody tell me? When Logan Paul comes out and says, ‘I heard you all chanted, thank you, Logan.’ That’s brilliant. You talk about heel heat, that is brilliant. Like you said, Jelly Roll delivering. This was a very entertaining segment. The only problem is two out of the four are not wrestlers. [8:12 onwards]

Logan Paul Is 2-1 At SummerSlam

Logan Paul’s tag team match at the 2025 SummerSlam will be his fourth match at “the Biggest Party of the Summer.”

He wrestled his first match at the PLE in 2022 against the Miz, followed by Ricochet in 2023, winning both.

In November that year, he won the United States Championship, which he held for 273 days before losing it to LA Knight at the 2024 SummerSlam.

Paul and McIntyre have been a menace to Jelly Roll and Randy Orton.

While they have suffered the repercussions of their boldness in the recent past, only time will reveal whether they overcome their opponents.
