Ex-WWE Stars Make First Appearance Since Leaving

WWE Logo over Roster

Two former WWE stars have wasted no time since leaving the company.

The Dyad’s Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid signalled their intention to leave WWE several months ago but their release request was rejected meaning they had to see out the rest of their contracts in the company which ended on October 14th.

After defeating The Creed Brothers in a Loser Leaves NXT match on June 27th, the former NXT Tag Team Champions made their return in August.

The Creed Brothers then battled The Dyad inside a steel cage on August 29th where if The Creeds were victorious they would be allowed back on NXT. Brutus and Julius Creed won what turned out to be The Dyad’s final match for the company.

The Grizzled Young Vets move on from WWE

Upon leaving WWE, The Dyad have reverted to their previous tag team name of The Grizzled Young Vets with Fowler known again as Zack Gibson and Reid using his James Drake name again.

The duo made their first post-WWE appearance at DPW Live in New Jersey when they answered an open challenge issued by The Workhorsemen JD Drake and Anthony Henry. The Grizzled Young Vets won the bout meaning that they will get a shot at The Workhorsemen’s DPW Tag Team Championship in the future.
