Ex-WWE Stars Confirm TNA Debut

TNA Logo over The Schism

The team known most recently to WWE NXT fans as The Dyad are heading to TNA and leaving their days in The Schism well behind them.

Zack Gibson and James Drake left WWE in October after their contracts with the company expired. They had most recently been known as Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid but are best known as the Grizzled Young Vets tag team and that is exactly what they are set to be once again.

IMPACT Wrestling – which is set to re-brand to TNA in January – has shared a video on social media of the GYV announcing that they will be making their debut for the promotion at Hard To Kill on January 13th. In the video, Gibson made very clear of the duo’s aspirations:

TNA has a long history of working with the top veteran teams in this industry, some for better and some for worse. We might not be the veterans that TNA are used to working with, but let me promise you this: we are the Veterans that TNA needs to work with to steer this ship in the right direction. Because God only knows teams like The Rascalz or The ABC are simply not the right men for the job.

January 13, Hard to Kill, The GYV are coming to TNA. And we are coming for the TNA Tag Team titles.
