Video Emerges Of Ex-WWE Star Ringside At ROH Supercard Of Honor

At ROH Supercard of Honor, Athena put the ROH Women’s Championship on the line against Yuka Sakazaki but there was a very interested onlooker at ringside – former WWE star, Naomi.

Back on May 15th, 2022 Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of an episode of Monday Night Raw due to being frustrated over their creative direction as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They handed over their title belts to then-Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis before their exit and were later stripped of the championship and publicly suspended by the company.

Sasha Banks has since departed WWE with neither party commenting on her exit. She has re-emerged on the wrestling scene in New Japan Pro Wrestling as Mercedes Mone, making her debut at Wrestle Kingdom on the 4th of January 2023.

There had been indications that Naomi was not returning to WWE after she filed to trademark the name ‘Trinity Starr’ and now there could be a hint as to where her future lies.

It had been reported that Naomi was backstage at Supercard of Honor but now video has emerged of the former SmackDown Women’s Champion apparently showing her disapproval of Athena’s antics after the match, but this was not shown on the pay-per-view.
