Ex-WWE star opens up about her match with Nia Jax.
On the February 8, 2021, edition of Monday Night RAW, WWE legend Lana faced Nia Jax in a Tables match. It was during the peak COVID era.
Jax dominated much of the match with her raw power, but when she tried a leg drop outside on the apron, she missed hard, landing tailbone-first and yelling, “MY HOLE!” super loud in pain.
When Nia Jax turned her back outside the ring, Lana charged full speed, spearing Nia through a setup table for the win. Following the match, “MY HOLE!” trended #1 worldwide, and the fans memed it forever.
Triple H Or Johnny Ace came Up With Nia Jax’s Iconic “My Hole” Comment
In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast, Lana discussed the viral “My Hole” moment with the show host.
She had a good laugh describing the behind-the-scenes of how the match and the particular moment came to be. She didn’t expect the moment to go viral online.
She revealed that Jax’s “My Hole” comment was either Triple H’s or Johnny Ace’s idea, and Nia Jax was not the one who came up with the iconic line.
“I had no idea that it was gonna become an international meme. That was nuts.
I push her through the table, she goes through the table, and I believe it was Triple H and Johnny [Ace], I can’t remember exactly who gave [the line] about joking about “my hole” in rehearsal, and then that’s what she did.
I did hurt her hole, and it became an international meme, which I’m very proud of. It’s so funny. I honestly can’t believe that I put her through a table and hurt her hole [laughs].”
