Ex-WWE Star Reacts To CM Punk Mention On Raw

CM Punk WWE Raw

CM Punk made his presence felt on Monday Night Raw, name-dropping a former WWE star that he was close with on the show.

CM Punk revealed that he was signing with Monday Night Raw following his shock return to WWE at Survivor Series. This was not news that warmed the heart of the World Heavyweight Champion and Seth Rollins finally confronted CM Punk to tell him that he hated him and was waiting for the former AEW star to self-destruct once again.

That led to CM Punk revealing that he was declaring for the men’s Royal Rumble match and warned Rollins that if he wins he might just go after him and the World Heavyweight Title.

CM Punk Shouts Out An Old Friend On WWE Raw

However, before all that happened, CM Punk reflected on his past in Cleveland, Ohio where Raw was taking place. Punk told the fans in what is now known as the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse:

A lot of people don’t know this but I debuted in this building. I had Mickie James on my arm, true story.

We walked down that ramp, we got into this ring and it was so good, I went back and they said ‘we’re sending you to Louisville, Kentucky, have fun in OVW.

Mickie James responded to her being name-dropped on the show by sending a message to Punk on social media and sharing a photo of the pair together:

That’s my Brother. That’s my Friend. @CMPunk

The match Punk was referring to was not his first in WWE but took place on the 25th of July 2005 and was indeed his final WWE match until September 2006 after he spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling.
