Taking a break from wrestling has not had the necessary effect for a former WWE star.

Braun Strowman recently revealed missing the time he spent in the squared circle. Since his release from the Stamford promotion on May 2, The Monster Among Men has not stepped back inside a wrestling ring.

Instead, he has focused on alternate ventures and even had a TV show, Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman, air its pilot episode on USA Network recently.

The show is produced by WWE Studios and BrightNorth Studios, with the likes of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Lee Fitting, Marc Pomarico, and Ben Houser serving as executive producers.

Braun Strowman is a one-time Universal Champion. He won the belt by defeating Goldberg at WrestleMania 36, after being asked to step in for Roman Reigns, who pulled out from the event owing to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Former WWE Champion Braun Strowman Misses Wrestling

The ex-WWE Universal Champion appeared on the Battleground Podcast recently, where he revealed the condition for his in-ring return.

I mean, these things are available for anybody that wants these (shows hands). We just got to figure out the money side of it. Because I learned when you’re good at something, you don’t do it for free.

Apparently, his high salary was a contributing factor towards his release from the wrestling juggernaut.

While at it, he also discussed missing being in a wrestling ring.

I miss being in the ring and I miss being in the locker room. A lot of the other stuff that comes along with it, I’m enjoying the break from because it’s very stressful. I mean, I’m still traveling a lot, but I’m getting to travel instead of like, all right, it gets to where it’s a job. [H/T: Fightful]
