Ex-WWE Star Featured In TKO Group’s Header

UFC TKO WWE New York Stock Exchange

Someone needs to tell TKO Group that a current champion isn’t part of WWE anymore.

TKO Group officially launched on the morning of the 12th of September as the takeover of WWE by Endeavor was completed. Vince McMahon, Triple H, and many others were at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the historic day that saw the sports entertainment behemoth move out of McMahon’s majority ownership for the first time ever.

McMahon was believed to be behind many of the late changes made to Monday Night Raw on the previous night and is very much back to work following his medical leave for spinal surgery.

While TKO Group oversees both WWE and UFC as a new company, someone might want to let them know that not all the stars they are promoting are currently contracted to them.

TKO Group features former WWE star on social media

The new company’s social media banner features many stars of both WWE and UFC, with crossover star Ronda Rousey front and centre despite the uncertainty over her future in either the squared circle or the octagon.

However, also featured is current IMPACT Knockouts Champion Trinity, who walked out of WWE when she was still known as Naomi in May 2022.

Trinity won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship from Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary in July 2023, and a current AEW star has apparently extended an invitation to her to appear in that company as they tease a huge match.
