Ex-WWE Star Blasts Jimmy Uso For Past Drunk Driving Arrests
Former WWE star Paul London has no time for Jimmy Uso.
In the mid-2000s, London was part of a popular tag team alongside Brian Kendrick. The pair were a regular feature of SmackDown where they reigned as the WWE Tag Team Champions for almost a year between 2006-2007, a record for that version of the titles at the time.
Today, the tag team division is dominated by another record-holding team, The Usos, Jimmy and Jey. At WrestleMania 39, the duo ended their 622-day run with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were able to defeat them to close their own chapter of the ongoing Bloodline saga.
During a recent interview with Nick Hausman for Inside The Ropes, London was asked about the storyline that has taken the wrestling world by storm.
He admitted he hasn’t been following it and isn’t a fan of The Usos, in no small part because of Jimmy Uso’s well-documented history of DUI arrests. London’s older brother, Daniel, was killed by a drunk driver in 1996.
“I mean, I’ve heard of that storyline. I’m not an Usos fan. Personally, because I don’t know who, but one of them is a f*cking idiot. Drunk driver, dumb f*ck. And I’ll make no secret about that. I think anybody who has not just one, but multiple drunk driving infractions is a f*cking idiot.
“So when they get rewarded it, it turns me off even more. Right? You can call it whatever it is, nepotism or whatever, but I have zero interest in supporting any of that. So good luck to him.”
