Ex-WWE Star Becomes First Time Ever Champion

Former WWE Superstar Sareee has been crowned the inaugural Marigold World Champion.

The 28 year-old star spent three years with WWE having signed with the company in February 2020 following an impressive spell with Japanese promotion World Woman Pro Wrestling Diana.

The Tokyo-born former WWWD World Champion, who competed under the name Sarray in WWE, defeated Giulia by referee stoppage in a 25 minute main event at Marigold Summer Destiny to capture the new title.

Giulia, meanwhile, is set to arrive in NXT, although recent reports have suggested that her highly anticipated impending debut with WWE’s third brand has been delayed.

WWE Superstars Heading To Compete In Japanese Tournament

Two NXT Superstars are headed to Japan to compete in this years NOAH N-1 Victory tournament.

The prestigious annual round-robin tournament will begin on 4th August with NXT represented in the form of Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights.

Briggs will battle in the tournament’s ‘A Block’, whilst Heights will compete in ‘B Block’.
