Ex-WWE Star Admits They’d Become Stagnant Before Firing

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal has admitted his growth as a talent and a person stopped as he struggled for the spotlight in the company.

WWE cuts returned to the roster recently with five names initially believed to have been let go. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that Xyon Quinn, Xia Li, Veer, Sanga, and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal had been released from their deals.

In the days following that news, it emerged that Von Wagner was also let go while an emotional Cameron Grimes revealed he had been released from the company.

Now one of those stars has revealed that they’re staying positive and looking at their release as a chance to grow.

Jinder Mahal Happy For New Opportunities After WWE Release

In a video released on social media, Jinder Mahal was asked what is his mindset following his WWE release and admitted he’d been stagnant in the company for several years:

Gratitude for all of life’s experiences, but at the same time positive and optimistic for the future. I’ve learned that good things don’t happen in life with a negative mind frame. So I’m excited for new opportunities, both in and outside of wrestling.

I get a chance to be myself. A chance to show something new. A chance to grow. So overall, this is a positive.For the past two years, I’ve been pretty stagnant and not really growing as a person or performer. So I’m viewing this as a very positive change.
