Ex-WWE Personality Issues Heartbreaking Statement After Getting Fired
A former WWE personality has revealed that they have been now fired from AAA.
Quetzalli Bulnes was released in 2022 after an incident that the Stamford promotion did not take to kindly.
During her stint, she worked as the host on the Spanish tapings of WWE’s social media team, hosting “El Brunch” and “WWE Ahora.”
At AAA, she had been working as a backstage correspondent.
She took to her YouTube channel to update her followers about what led to her firing from the Lucha Libre promotion.
My firing from WWE has affected me too much. Many friends turned their backs on me and the other person (Falbak) involved didn’t tell the truth. I was alone and sick when they gave me the news, and I don’t wish it on anyone.
Now I was also fired from AAA, and honestly I don’t know what to do… I don’t know whether to continue wrestling or get away from it. A part of me regrets having accepted WWE’s proposal 7 years ago, because I had everything to succeed in horror cinema: I had won an award in Los Angeles and I left everything for wrestling.
WWE Continues To Release Staff
Every time the promotion releases its talents, it makes the headlines.
This time, however, the company has focused on releasing staff other than on-screen talents. According to Fightful, the Triple H-led wrestling behemoth has let go of around a dozen backstage staff members.
It has yet to be confirmed whether the release process has ended or are there more to come.
The report also claimed that these releases have less to do with budget cuts and more to do with either repositioning a few roles or eliminating other unwanted posts.
The promotion had come under heavy scrutiny for its May 2, 2025, releases, which included popular talents like Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler.
