Ex-WWE Champion Teases Extreme Match With Brock Lesnar
A former WWE Champion wants to get back in the ring with Brock Lesnar and has suggested the two men might have to go extreme.
The similarities between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have long been touted by wrestling fans with both men making waves in both amateur and professional wrestling as well as crossing over successfully to the world of mixed martial arts.
Despite that, the two men have only met twice in their careers in one-on-one matches with both of those bouts coming in 2022. Bobby Lashley unseated Brock Lesnar as WWE Champion at the 2022 Royal Rumble with more than a little help from Roman Reigns. Lesnar picked up a win over Lashley at Crown Jewel in November but The All Mighty One delivered a hellacious beating on Lesnar throughout and after the match itself.
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Bobby Lashley has discussed a possible rubber match against Brock Lesnar but thinks the two men would have to get extreme:
“I like the kind of contests where it can make me push myself. I like to fight. Brock likes to fight. There’s a lot of similarities between the two of us, so I think that the next matchup is what everybody wants to see will be no holds barred. It’s probably gonna come to a point where we’re gonna get locked in a cage or an extreme rules match or something like that. But it’s about to happen.”
Bobby Lashley has a chance to regain the WWE United States Championship when he challenges Austin Theory for the gold on the 30th anniversary of Raw.
