Emotional WWE Star Begs For Opportunity

One WWE star has gotten tearful as they claim they have been begging for an opportunity as they want to have a main roster PLE singles match.

Damage CTRL have run roughshod over WWE for the past two years but in recent months, the group has started to unravel. Bayley left the group after growing tired of being sniped at by Kairi Sane, Asuka, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai but she had the last laugh as the Role Model defeated IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.

The Kabuki Warriors lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair with Asuka missing due to injury ever since. IYO SKY has grown increasingly frustrated with the group’s fortunes and now one member of the group says she just wants a chance.

Dakota Kai Desperate For WWE Chance

Speaking on her Twitch channel, Dakota Kai got emotional as she discussed asking for the opportunity to have a singles match on a WWE main roster PLE:

Seriously, come on now, get behind me. I’ve never had an opportunity as a singles competitor on a PLE. I’m not talking about NXT. You know what I mean… I’m getting like, ugh. You know that feeling where you’re like, ‘Give me an opportunity, please, anything.’ I’m crying. I’m crying because I’m so emotional about this. No, it’s my allergies. I’m not actually crying. But seriously, come on now, get behind me, bro.

During her time in WWE, Dakota Kai has only competed on 8 main roster premium live events with the last of those being WrestleMania 40 when she was part of the Damage CTRL team that lost a six-woman tag team match to Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi.

Kai has had three singles matches on NXT premium live events but only won one of those bouts when she defeated Tegan Nox in a Street Fight at TakeOver: Portland in February 2020.
