“Hospitals Truly Kill People” – Dustin Rhodes Reacts To Hulk Hogan’s Passing
The wrestling world is in mourning since the announcement of Hulk Hogan’s passing.
Former WWE superstar Dustin Rhodes has reacted to the 71-year-old’s death via social media.
Rhodes, who is currently signed to AEW, is popular for his Goldust gimmick in WWE, active throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s.
TMZ Sports broke the news of Hogan’s death, claiming he passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.
A few days ago, news was widely circulated about the former world champion being unable to speak due to health complications.
Hogan’s kayfabe nemesis, Ric Flair, paid his tribute earlier in the day.
While Dustin Rhodes did not have any major in-ring rivalry with Hulk Hogan, reports suggest the two faced off at various non-televised house shows.
Hospitals truly kill people. I really do mean that, Dustin wrote.

Rhodes’ mention of “hospitals” could be in reference to his father, Dusty Rhodes’, passing, who also died in a hospital in 2015.
Hulk Hogan: A Cultural Icon
Hulk Hogan was, without a doubt, a cultural icon who revolutionized wrestling.
His contributions leapt beyond the squared circle, as his popularity helped WWE elevate its presence nationwide in the 1980s and globally later on.
He continued his dominance as a figurehead in WCW and TNA.
The New World Order, especially, brought out a different side to him, as he turned heel for the first time in his wrestling career, joined by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
In TNA, he reunited with his former WCW rival Sting, as well as boss Eric Bischoff, creating nostalgia among fans.
He also wrestled The Rock at WrestleMania X8, famously dubbed as “Icon vs. Icon,” where he was defeated to pave the way for the next generation.
