Drew McIntyre Training For WrestleMania With AEW Star
Drew McIntyre has let the beast out.
Despite his favourite pastime of taking potshots at CM Punk, Drew McIntyre will challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania. The Scottish star earned his spot with a win inside the Elimination Chamber, a spot that ironically, was meant to go to Punk before he got injured.
In his pursuit of World Championship gold McIntyre has left no stone unturned, and that includes recruiting backup from AEW.
In a post on social media, McIntyre videoed himself working out with none other than Brian Cage. The AEW star later shared the post on his own page with the hashtag “NEWCHAMP”

No News On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Contract
Despite standing on the brink of a World Title and turning in arguably the strongest work of his career, McIntyre’s future remains uncertain. The most recent report on the situation suggests no deal between the star and WWE has been reached meaning — at least in theory, he’ll become a free agent shortly after WrestleMania.
However, it’s been reported that WWE expects Drew McIntyre to stay.
Meanwhile, Triple H dismissed speculation that Drew McIntyre had been unhappy with his role in WWE, urging his star to sign a new deal.
