Drew McIntyre: Seth Rollins Is One Of My Best Opponents
Drew McIntyre can’t wait to get back in the ring with Seth Rollins.
It’s been announced that McIntyre will meet Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at Crown Jewel on November 4th. The match will be the first televised singles bout between the pair since Money In The Bank 2020.
Meanwhile, it’s the first time that McIntyre has challenged for the World Championship since being defeated by Roman Reigns at Clash At The Castle in September 2022.
Appearing on the Mike Jones Show, the Scottish Warrior looked ahead to his match with Rollins.
“I’m looking forward to getting that world title match, the first one since Roman Reigns and Bloodline screwed me out of it. Seth is one of my best opponents. We have great chemistry and we haven’t had a big match, or any match, for a very long time. It’s cool that it’s going to be on such a big show,”
At present, only one other match has been announced for Crown Jewel with Rhea Ripley putting her Women’s World Title on the line against Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez.
Seth Rollins Excited To Face Drew McIntyre
After the match was made official, Seth Rollins took to social media to give his thoughts on the match. Keeping it short and sweet, Rollins said he was excited to “run is back” with the Scottish Warrior.
Rollins won the World Heavyweight Title back at Night of Champions and has since defended the gold against Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Bron Breakker. His most recent defence came in a Last Man Standing Match at Fastlane where he saw off the challenge of Nakamura.
