Drew McIntyre has made a shocking threat to quit WWE if he can’t beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania calling his future into even more doubt.

It was first reported around WrestleMania 39 that Drew McIntyre hadn’t signed a new WWE contract, leaving him with a year to run. This was followed by speculation that he was unhappy with money and was some distance from agreeing to a new contract. Furthermore, it’s believed that McIntyre is open to at least taking a break when his current deal expires.

McIntyre’s deal is believed to expire sometime shortly after WrestleMania 40 but with his current new attitude causing a stir and a feud with the injured CM Punk in the works, many people believe the Scottish star will re-sign with the company. However, nothing is a certainty as of yet.

Drew McIntyre To Leave WWE?

Speaking at the WWE World panel, Drew McIntyre shocked those in attendance as he said he’d leave WWE if he couldn’t defeat Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40:

If I can’t win against Seth Rollins on Sunday, I quite frankly shouldn’t be in this industry, I’ll leave WWE.

Drew McIntyre suffered a big setback ahead of WrestleMania 40 but he’ll hope to put that aside and leave Philadelphia with a World Heavyweight Title win in front of a packed stadium to his name.
