Drew McIntyre Hits Out At Stupid CM Punk Fans

Drew McIntyre does not like CM Punk and if you’re a fan of CM Punk, then Drew McIntyre doesn’t really like you either.

CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship in a shocking moment at WrestleMania 40 and McIntyre is hell-bent on revenge. However, any physicality between the two men has been curtailed with Punk injured since the Royal Rumble while Drew McIntyre was pulled out of the King of the Ring due to an injury of his own.

CM Punk has vowed to break Drew McIntyre’s heart and threatened to show up at Clash of the Castle in Scotland, while Drew McIntyre has issued a serious warning to Punk if he dares turn up in Glasgow. As for what the Scottish star might be doing on that show, that became clearer on Raw in Greenville.

Drew McIntyre Given World Title Shot On WWE Raw

McIntyre took to the ring to share his views on CM Punk given that Punk was not at the show. McIntyre took shots at the former AEW World Champion telling the fans in attendance “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he doesn’t exist. The greatest trick CM Punk ever pulled was looking like a drug addict without ever taking any drugs.”

McIntyre then told those in the crowd and watching around the world exactly what he thought of CM Punk fans noting, “If you’re a CM Punk fan, you’re stupid.” A message he later reiterated on social media:

You buy all the crap he spews. You trust him when all he’s done is betray your trust. I don’t like to call people stupid. But if you’re a CM Punk fan you’re stupid.

Drew McIntyre was eventually interrupted by Damian Priest who then offered the man he defeated for the title at WrestleMania 40 a shot at the gold when he was medically cleared to compete once again.
