Drew McIntyre Facing More WWE Sanctions

Drew McIntyre WWE

It’s not a good time to be Drew McIntyre.

When WWE Money In The Bank went on the air, everything was looking positive for Drew McIntyre. His anger at CM Punk was still there, but that’s become an increasing part of his make-up in recent months.

In the opening match of the night, McIntyre won the Money In The Bank contract, and it seemed everything was going well. Even when he cashed in that contract during the match between Seth Rollins and Damian Priest, things were going to plan. That was until CM Punk got involved to make sure he left without the World Heavyweight Title.

During the post-show, an irate Scottish Warrior ranted and screamed at anyone who would listen, and ended up elbowing Raw General Manager Adam Pearce in the head before finally being dragged away by Wade Barrett. One WWE star has claimed to have feared for their life during the altercation.

Drew McIntyre Has Fine Doubled

The following day, Drew McIntyre found himself suspended by Pearce and WWE with a hefty fine thrown in for good measure. Unsurprisingly, McIntyre didn’t take the news well, branding Pearce a “incompetent bald bitch” on social media.

A clearly fed-up Pearce then doubled McIntyre’s fine and told him to enjoy his day off.

Of course, the suspension and fine are purely part of the ongoing storyline with the belief that Drew McIntyre will clash with CM Punk at SummerSlam.
