Drew McIntyre Confirms He’s Hurt
Drew McIntyre is injured.
On April 20th, it was reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, that Drew McIntyre was dealing with a “badly hyperextended elbow.” The star suffered the injury in his WrestleMania match against Seth Rollins.
Despite the problem, McIntyre has continued to wrestle competing in four matches on WWE’s UK tour.
In a post on social media, McIntyre confirmed he’s working with an injury, and managed to take a swipe at CM Punk in the process.
“The internet is telling the truth. I’ve said it in interviews already. I am hurt, but I keep pushing through because I’m not a pathetic coward little bitch like CM Punk.”
Drew McIntyre Adds To WWE Injury Problems
The news about Drew McIntyre comes after Becky Lynch revealed that Seth Rollins has recently undergone knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. The issue dates back to January when Rollins suffered the injury in a match against Jinder Mahal. There had been fears Rollins would miss WrestleMania, but he managed to compete despite the problem.
Meanwhile, on the April 15th episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley was forced to relinquish the Women’s World Title due to injury. The Aussie star has suffered an injury to her AC joint and looks likely to miss several months of action.
