A highly-anticipated dream match has been confirmed for AEW Dynasty.

AEW recently announced a new addition to its pay-per-view calendar with Dynasty coming to St. Louis, Missouri on April 21st. With the event a little over a month away, the company has wasted little time in trying to make it as huge as possible.

On the Match 6th episode of Dynamite, Will Ospreay defeated Kyle Fletcher after making his first appearance as an AEW-contracted wrestler days earlier at Revolution. The British star’s signing was announced back at Full Gear in November, but he’s spent the intervening months finishing up his commitments in NJPW and on the independent scene.

After his win over Fletcher, Ospreay was confronted by Bryan Danielson, sparking speculation the pair could meet very soon. As it turns out, a date for that clash has now been confirmed.

At the March 7th taping for Collision (The show will air on March 9th) Danielson defeated Shane Taylor before Ospreay arrived and was challenged to a match at Dynasty. A challenge Ospreay quickly accepted.

Kazuchika Okada Makes Full AEW In-Ring Debut

Elsewhere at the taping, Kazuchika Okada teamed with The Young Bucks to defeat Jon Cruz, Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray. After the match, Eddie Kingston attacked Okada and The Bucks after they jumped him on Dynamite. Eventually, PAC and Penta El Zero Miedo ran in to make the save, setting up a trios match for Dynamite “Big Business” on March 13th.

Okada made his own full AEW debut on March 6th, joining forces with The Bucks after Kenny Omega was kicked out of The Elite.

It’s been reported that Kazuchika Okada has agreed a three-year deal worth over $4 million per year.
