Don Callis Adds New Family Member On AEW Dynamite

Don Callis has weaselled his way into another AEW star’s life as he added a new member to his Family on Dynamite.

Since losing in the tournament to find new AEW Tag Team Champions, Trent Beretta has not been the same man. Beretta turned on his long-time friend Orange Cassidy after they lost out in the tournament and since then he has sought to destroy the former AEW International Champion.

Trent Beretta also took great delight in ending one AEW star’s career but he cannot get the better of Cassidy in the ring. At Double Or Nothing the two men faced off again with Cassidy once again defeating his former partner and all of this played out right under the nose of Don Callis.

Don Callis Rejected By Orange Cassidy

Callis seemed to have an interest in recruiting Orange Cassidy into The Don Callis Family and on Dynamite in Los Angeles, he presented a contract to join the group to Cassidy.

However, Cassidy was uninterested and tore the contract up but the real plan was only beginning. Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander then appeared with Statlander saying she gladly accepted Callis’ offer on behalf of her best friend as Trent Beretta appeared from behind Cassidy and attacked him. Beretta then hugged Don Callis complete with the Best Friend’s camera zoom out.

Kris Statlander broke hearts at Double Or Nothing when she turned her back on Willow Nightingale after Nightingale lost the TBS Championship to Mercedes Mone.
