Dominik Mysterio Targeting Specific WWE Champion

Dominik Mysterio has set his sights on the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The widely hated member of the Judgment Day has yet to taste singles gold on the main roster of WWE, although did enjoy two stints as NXT North American Champion in 2023.

Speaking during a recent interview with Adam Barnard of Sports Illustrated, the son of WWE Hall Of Famer Rey Mysterio revealed that he is keen to lift his first singles title on Raw by defeating current WWE Intercontinental Champion, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso.

Despite Uso’s close friendship with the former girlfriend of Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, the 27 year-old insisted that he had eyes only on unseating the popular Superstar as Champion:

“I would say I have some unfinished business with Jey, and there’s something of his that I want, and that’s definitely not Rhea.”

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso is not the only top name that could soon be feeling the wrath of ‘Dirty Dom’.

Having made it clear that he has not forgotten a vicious assault with a kendo stick on him by Seth Rollins during an August 2020 edition of WWE Raw, Mysterio has also singled out the former World Heavyweight Champion as a man who needs to watch his back.
