Details On Triple H’s Absence From July 3rd WWE Raw
Triple H wasn’t present backstage during the most recent episode of WWE Raw, and a new report sheds light on the situation.
Ever since taking over as Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque has been the man in charge of both Raw and SmackDown. While Vince McMahon has been known to make last-minute changes more recently as of late, he’s been doing so remotely and is rarely present at tapings. An absence from Levesque, however, is rare.
A new report from Fightful Select reveals that Levesque was absent from the July 3rd taping of WWE Raw, and notes that while many backstage weren’t expecting him to be absent, he was said to be in a great mood for Saturday’s Money in the Bank PLE and was enthusiastic about the success of the show in London.
According to Fightful, there was no more to Levesque’s absence than simply a planned night away, and he is expected to be present for SmackDown on Friday. Talent weren’t given a reason as to why he was away on Monday.
As is usually the case, Bruce Prichard served as point person and ran the show in Triple H’s absence.
Fightful Select also makes mention of the fact that Vince McMahon did not make the trip to London for Money in the Bank, nor was he present at Raw on Monday.
WWE Raw featured a bout between Natalya and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship. Ripley was able to retain, and the match between the two was the subject of heavy praise backstage.
