Death Riders Add New Member After Shock AEW Heel Turn
The Death Riders are one man up after a shock heel turn on Dynamite stunned AEW.
Jon Moxley built his Death Riders around creating a new system of control in AEW. Flanked by Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC, Moxley held the AEW World Title hostage after winning that gold from Bryan Danielson.
Hangman Adam Page dethroned Moxley at All In Texas, causing huge scenes of celebration. But Moxley’s fight goes on.
Page was helped by, among others, Darby Allin, who has made it his personal mission to destroy the Death Riders and Moxley, ridding AEW of their terror once and for all.
Jon Moxley and Darby Allin will face off in a Coffin Match at All Out, but before that bout takes place, Allin was able to get his hands on Moxley on Dynamite.
Death Riders Get Their Man On Dynamite
The September 10th edition of Dynamite was headlined by a huge $500k ten-man tag team match pitting the Death Riders and the Young Bucks against The Opps and Brodido. Matt Jackson won the match for his team, but the aftermath saw a brawl break out.
Darby Allin then made his presence felt as he got his hands on Jon Moxley, but Allin was stopped in his tracks by Daniel Garcia. Garcia had faced Moxley twice in recent weeks and seemed to earn the respect of the former AEW World Champion.
Garcia confirmed his turn to the dark side as he delivered a stomp to Allin’s head onto a steel chair. Moxley then directed traffic as Garcia continued to smash Allin with blows. Moxley, Marina Shafir, and Daniel Garcia then left together through the crowd.
