Dax Harwood Says It’s Up To Tony Khan If FTR Return To AEW

Dax Harwood has left the ball in Tony Khan’s court over whether or not FTR will appear in AEW again before their contracts expire with the company.

Dax Harwood previously revealed that his and Cash Wheeler’s contracts with AEW will expire in April 2023 but are currently on the sidelines as they recover from their banner year in 2022 that saw them hold the AAA, ROH, and IWGP Tag Team Championships simultaneously.

Harwood raised eyebrows when shared how much he missed wrestling on social media recently with many wondering if this was a public call to Tony Khan to bring FTR back to television.

Speaking on his FTR podcast, Dax Harwood noted that his message was just coincidental but says he’d love to return to AEW if that’s what Tony Khan wants:

“There was no correlation there, none at all. I just happened to be watching wrestling, drinking coffee, and the two times of the day where I have endorphins completely running through my body are my first cup of coffee, especially if I’m watching wrestling, and my first drink of tequila. That’s all it was. Endorphins and I really do miss wrestling.”

“I still have to take things easy, let my body and mind rest, recuperate and be ready for, if we come back before April, I would absolutely love that. If Tony is on board with that and that’s what he wants, I would love to. If that’s not what he wants, it’s his company and I will do whatever he says because I trust him and he’s the boss.”

Dax Harwood set tongues wagging after he shared – inadvertently or not – a photo that appeared to show an envelope with the WWE logo on it.
