According to Dax Harwood, FTR have signed on the dotted line confirming that he and Cash Wheeler will be staying with AEW for a long time.

In the days leading up to and immediately following FTR’s title vs. AEW career match against The Gunns, wrestling fans have been curious about the duo’s contract status.

And while their recent win solidified their position within AEW, some still wondered if this was a simple contract extension or a new long-term contract altogether.

To answer those questions, Dax Harwood spoke with Uproxx, hoping to clear the air about FTR’s contract status and a few other matters as well.

“AEW is home, this is where we want to cement our legacy, and I think this is going to be our definitive run right here”.

The interview touched on several other subjects as well, including the duo’s thoughts about Vince McMahon and Triple H as bosses compared to Tony Khan, why they chose AEW over WWE, their excitement over AEW’s recently-announced Wembley Stadium show, and a match they want to see happen in that venue.

“CM Punk and FTR versus the Elite. That’s gotta be it, right? If you want to sell 50,000 tickets and take this company to the next level, that’s it, that’s me dreaming. That’s the dream match. That six-man tag in Wembley Stadium could help launch AEW to the next level.”
