Dax Harwood Recalls Having Bizarre Object Lodged In His Knee

Dax Harwood

Dax Harwood has revealed that an unusual object caused his knee to be locked in one position ahead of a major NXT match.

Before joining AEW and becoming triple Tag Team Champions, FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were known as Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, aka The Revival in NXT and WWE.

One of the most notable feuds the pair had while in NXT was against Chad Gable and Jason Jordon, then going by American Alpha. The two teams traded the NXT Tag Team Championships several times in 2016 with Gable and Steveson taking the titles at TakeOver: Dallas and The Revival regaining them two months later at TakeOver: The End.

Now, Dax Harwood has taken to social media to reveal an interesting fact about the second bout, saying that an hour beforehand, he couldn’t move his knee. By good fortune, the “floating particle” causing the issue dislodged a few minutes before the match started and didn’t affect the match.

He later found out that the “floating particle” in question was a button. At time of writing there has been no explanation for how it could have gotten there, but Harwood has promised to reveal all on the next edition of his new podcast.

“Great times

I remember an hour before this match, my knee wouldn’t bend or straighten out. It was stuck in one position. 5 mins before we walked through the curtain, the floating particle in my knee finally dislodged & it started moving! The floating particle was this button…”

The rivalry between American Alpha and The Revival finally came to an end on the July 6th edition of NXT when the teams met in a Two Out Of Three Falls match. The Revival came out on top with a 2-1 victory.
