Dave Meltzer Reveals Ratings WWE Clash At The Castle

WWE CM Punk Drew McIntyre Referee

Dave Meltzer has had his say on the action at WWE Clash At The Castle.

June 15th should have been the triumphant homecoming of Drew McIntyre but the star’s night ended in disaster. Despite being on the verge of winning the World Heavyweight Title, the Scottish star was denied by CM Punk who appeared as a surprise guest referee mid-way through the match but refused to count Damian Priest’s shoulders to the mat.

On the following episode of Raw, an incensed Drew McIntyre quit WWE in protest.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Cody Rhodes, Bayley, and Sami Zayn who all retained their respective titles. However, there was a surprise in the event’s other match as The Unholy Union claimed the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
