Dave Meltzer Match Ratings AEW Grand Slam Australia

Toni Storm celebrates with the AEW Women's World Title

Dave Meltzer has passed down his star ratings for AEW Grand Slam Australia.

On February 15, AEW headed to Australia for the first time and celebrated as one of the company’s biggest stars made history in the main event.

In the show’s headline bout, “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated Mariah May to claim the Women’s World Championship. With the victory, Storm became the first woman to win the title four times.

Elsewhere, Mercedes Mone beat Harley Cameron to retain the TBS Championship, and the Death Riders saw off Cope and Jay White.

In the event’s opening match, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay got the better of Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher in a wild tag team match.

On a less positive note, it’s been reported that Buddy Matthews suffered an ankle injury during his match with Kazuchika Okada. The Aussie star reportedly suffered the injury while making his entrance before going on to fail in his bid to win the Continental Championship.
