Dave Bautista addressed what he might be doing if he didn’t get the acting bug.

During his WWE career, Dave Bautista wrestled as Batista and was one of the biggest names in what a lot of fans call the “Ruthless Aggression Era.” While John Cena was the face of the Raw brand for several years, Batista was one of the top guys on Smackdown during that same period.

As a WWE superstar, Dave Bautista won six World Championships, headlined WrestleMania twice, and will be in the Hall of Fame whenever it fits his schedule.

Post WWE, Bautista has become a household name as a successful actor starring in some major motion pictures like the Guardians of the Galaxy series, Stuber, and the new film The Killer’s Game.

Would Dave Bautista Still Be A Part Of WWE If He Didn’t Get Into Acting?

At WrestleMania 35 in 2019, Dave Bautista lost his final WWE match to his wrestling mentor Triple H. It was Bautista’s first match since his 2014 return. It was in mid-2010 when Bautista stopped wrestling regularly in WWE.

Due to his history with WWE, Bautista gets asked about the company often. When asked BuzzFeed Celeb if he’d still be involved in WWE if not for his busy acting career, Bautista gave a strong answer.

“I would still be involved with WWE, I hope. Because I really loved it. It wasn’t that I ever wanted to not be a part of that universe because I love the WWE Universe. It was just that I became so passionate about acting, and I’m still pursuing it with everything I have, but I still love that world.”

“I have a good relationship with the company. I hope that they would always leave the door open for me because I just love professional wrestling.”

While promoting his new film The Killer’s Game, Dave Bautista commented recently about how he’s down to 240 pounds after wrestling at 290 pounds for most of his career.
