Dark Side of the Ring is coming back.

On December 12th, Vice announced the creation of a new Vice Sports Division as part of its revamped Vice TV operation. Vice Media will now have a “sports first” approach with Dark Side of the Ring playing a key role.

As confirmed in the press release, the series will return for season six on March 25th.

Although the topics for the upcoming season are yet to be revealed, one episode is expected to be centred around Mick Foley after Jim Ross said he was interviewed by series makers about the WWE legend.

The success of the series will see Vice launch Dark Side of the Cage — an MMA-themed take on the show in 2025.

WWE Legend Won’t Work With Dark Side Of The Ring

While the series has been popular with fans, not everyone involved in the industry is as excited. Back in June, Booker T vowed never to work with the documentary series, claiming they often take comments from interviews out of context.

“And just going on record: I will never do anything with ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ ever again, going forward.”

The WWE Hall of Famer had been approached about appearing in an episode of WCW Bash At The Beach 2000, but he turned the offer down.
