Darby Allin Wants To Make The TNT Title “Mean Something”

Darby Allin TNT Champion AEW

Darby Allin has his sights set on the TNT Championship.

The former 2 time holder of the title looks to dethrone Luchasaurus at the All Out pay-per-view on September 3rd, joining Cody Rhodes, Wardlow and Sammy Guevara as the only 3 time holders of the TNT Championship. For Allin, the TNT title means more to him than any other accolade.

Allin was a recent guest on The Rob Brown Show, and was asked if he had any other championship aspirations, specifically going after AEW World Champion MJF.

Allin stated that his goal is to beat whoever is holding the TNT Title and to become a champion once again, making the title the most sought after prize in the whole company.

“Honestly, I’m just concentrated on the TNT Championship. I have that at All Out against Luchasaurus or Christian or whoever the hell is holding that title. That’s been a goal of mine, to make that title mean something, since day one. Right when I became TNT Champion during the pandemic, I hustled to make that more than the World Championship. Bet yourself, if I win it at All Out, I’m going to do the exact same thing again.”

Will Darby Allin Be Wrestling At AEW All In?

With Darby Allin’s opportunity at the TNT Championship set for All Out, the status of the former champion is currently unknown for AEW’s first ever show in the UK, All In, which takes place one week prior. As mentioned by Tony Khan in a recent interview, matches for AEW All In will be announced in the near future.

Allin won the right to face Luchasaurus at All Out by winning the Royal Rampage Battle Royale, last eliminating Swerve Strickland. Also featured in the match was New Japan star Minoru Suzuki, who will be competing in a match on a Bullet Train later in the year.
