Darby Allin Gives Scary Insight Into Blood & Guts Mindset

Darby Allin AEW Flamethrower

Darby Allin is ready for war.

After weeks and months of animosity, battle lines have finally been drawn, and two Blood & Guts matches have been set.

On the men’s side, the official challenge for the match was made on Dynamite by Mark Briscoe after another wild brawl between the Death Riders and the Conglomeration.

As a result, a team made up of Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, and Roderick Strong will meet Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta inside the famous double-cage.

Not only that, for the first time ever, the show will also include a women’s Blood & Guts match as Mercedes Mone teams with Megan Bayne, Thekla, Marina Shafir, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue to face “Timeless” Toni Storm, Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, and Queen Aminata.

Darby Allin Is Read For Blood & Guts

Speaking to 3NT Wrestling, Darby Allin looked ahead to his latest fight inside the famous double cage, delivering an ominous warning. You’ve got to be prepared to go to the hospital and shorten your career to win.

“You got to be at peace with whatever happens. You can’t be afraid to go to the hospital. You can’t be afraid to have months taken off your career. You got to be willing to risk it all.”

Allin added that the match’s wild reputation fits with how he lives his life.

“Anybody knows anything about this past year, I’ve been risking everything. Everything,” he said. “So I think Blood and Guts is very on brand with how I live my life.”

Meanwhile, it’s been announced that two ‘Best of Three’ series will decide who gets the advantage at the start of both Blood & Guts matches. This will see Orange Cassidy face Claudio Castagnoli, Darby Allin wrestle Daniel Garcia, and if necessary, Roderick Strong square off against Jon Moxley.

For the women’s match, Megan Bayne will meet Queen Aminata, Jamie Hayter takes on Skye Blue, and if needed, Harley Cameron will tackle Thekla.
