Daniel Cormier has praised Logan Paul heavily by calling the YouTube star an “amazing” performer, especially with how quickly Paul has adapted to being part of WWE.

When Logan Paul steps in the ring at Crown Jewel on November 5th, it will only be his third match in WWE. At WrestleMania 38, Paul teamed up with The Miz to defeat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. Paul faced The Miz at SummerSlam in July in a match where Paul impressed everybody with his performance as he picked up the win over The Miz.

Daniel Cormier recently got involved with WWE as the referee of the Matt Riddle-Seth Rollins Fight Pitch Match on October 8th at Extreme Rules. Cormier has since talked about being very nervous in that role.

The UFC Hall of Famer Cormier recently appeared on The Masked Man Show on The Ringer with the former UFC Heavyweight Champion praising Paul’s athleticism and training methods.

“Logan Paul is amazing. Love him, hate him, he is amazing. These kids are great athletes, but they’re not limited in everything they do because of the financials that they made in the YouTube and everything else that they’ve done.”

“He isn’t training by himself getting prepared for these matches. He has a ring in his place, he has someone from the WWE in his place everyday preparing himself. He’s not just by himself trying to get ready to wrestle. He’s got the best of the best.”

Logan Paul is scheduled to appear on the October 21st edition of Smackdown ahead of his Crown Jewel match against Roman Reigns with the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line. WWE is not currently advertising Reigns for that episode of Smackdown.
