Damian Priest has revealed which fellow WWE Superstar has forced him to break character.

The 41 year-old co-holder of the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship has been a heavily featured member of the WWE roster since joining The Judgment Day during Night Two of WrestleMania 38 on 3rd April 2022.

As a member of the villainous faction, Priest has presented a notoriously intense persona, enjoying tremendous in-ring success and is the current holder of the men’s Money In The Bank briefcase having seen off the likes of Logan Paul, L.A Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura in a critically acclaimed ladder match at London’s o2 Arena on July 1st 2023.

During an exclusive chat with Inside The Ropes’ Kenny McIntosh, Priest revealed, however, that there is a fellow WWE Superstar who has been successful in breaking his usually impeccable composure.

Unsurprisingly, that man is wannabe Judgment Day member and legendary comic talent, R Truth:

“I think you know the answer to this question, it’s why you’re asking it. He hasn’t gotten close to cracking me. I’ve been cracked. I’m open, I’m scrambled, he got me. It’s unbelievable. I can go in and I know what he’s going to do, I know he’s going to try to do that. I know he’s going to try to break me and make me laugh, that’s what he does.

And no matter how hard you try, no matter how much you’re expecting him to say something it doesn’t matter. You look at his face and in his delivery, it’s impossible to stay serious. I don’t know, maybe some can do it but I’m not one, and I’m usually pretty good at not laughing.

I’m a pretty serious person, especially when I need to be. But that guy, man. He’ll break anybody. I really do believe that and he’s gotten me a few times. I think I can hold my stuff together now. But for a few times, especially when we were starting, I had no chance.”

Reason For Success Of Damian Priest Faction Revealed By Fellow Member

The Judgment Day continue to go from strength to strength in WWE, increasing in both dominance and popularity since their 2022 debut and continuing to feature at the forefront of WWE Raw.

Faction member Rhea Ripley recently revealed her belief that diversity was at the heart of the groups success.
