Damian Priest Details Perks That Came With New WWE Contract

Damian Priest has lifted the lid on his current WWE contract.

Back in early 2024, Damian Priest was on the greatest run of his professional career. The star had already claimed the Money In The Bank briefcase, and he subsequently went on to cash in that contract and win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.

During this period, it was also reported that Priest had signed a new multi-year contract with WWE, just days before his current deal had been due to expire.

As part of the deal, Priest was given control over his theme song, but it seems the contract also came with other, more practical perks.

First Class Damian Priest

During an appearance on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes, Priest revealed that he asked to be booked in first class on flights to make him more comfortable after wrestling, especially given his large frame.

“I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t wanna be in pain anymore. I don’t wanna wrestle and then be (hunches over). Because I’m sorry, I am a big guy and I don’t fit.’

And they were like, ‘Yeah that’s not a problem, you should have had that already.’ I was like, ‘Well I don’t know the rules, I don’t know how to politic, I don’t know how to ask for stuff.’ That’s just not me.

But that was the first time they were like, ‘Yeah, you can sit at the front of the plane from now on.’”

It was recently reported that Damian Priest had been earning special praise backstage for his performances despite being badly banged up. WWE management and several talents were said to be impressed that the former World Champion had been able to continue working at such a high level.

Priest hasn’t wrestled since beating Drew McIntyre in a Steel Cage Match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24.
