Controversial Ex-WWE Star To Appear Alongside Donald Trump
Former WWE broadcaster Charly Caruso is set to be a special guest at a New York Young Republicans Dinner alongside Donald Trump.
Charly Caruso joined WWE in 2016 and became a ring announcer for NXT before graduating to the main roster where she worked as an interviewer and host for several different shows and panels. Caruso left the company in 2021 when she did not re-sign with the company.
Since leaving WWE and her other employment at ESPN, the real-life Charly Arnolt has become outspoken on many topics including trans rights. She slammed ESPN for featuring a tribute to swimmer Lia Thomas during Women’s Month, accusing the network of ignoring its own “no politics” rule. That led to the former WWE star facing a backlash from some quarters online.
Charly Caruso To Join WWE Hall Of Famer Donald Trump
Writing in his Daily Update, Dave Meltzer noted that former WWE broadcaster Charly Caruso will be a special guest at a political event where the guest of honour will be former US President Donald Trump:
The former Charly Caruso, now Charly Arnolt (her real name) was announced as the special guest for this year’s New York Young Republicans Dinner with Donald Trump as the featured guest.
Donald Trump is of course running once again for the US Presidency. Trump is a long-time friend of Vince McMahon and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
