“Don’t Know Who This Other Clown Is” – Conor McGregor On MJF
Conor McGregor is one of the most well-known combat sports athletes of all time, but he apparently doesn’t know who the AEW World Champion MJF is.
The new AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (aka MJF) and former UFC Champion Conor McGregor have trash talks and championships in coming. The confident Irishman McGregor is known for his verbiage just as much as throwing a left hand to the jaw of an opponent.
As for MJF, the confident 26-year-old had the biggest victory of his pro wrestling career this past Saturday at Full Gear when he defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Title. It was not a clean win for MJF because William Regal slid him brass knuckles (the downed referee didn’t see it) leading to MJF knocking out Moxley for the pinfall win.
Over the last few days, MJF has targeted a UFC fighter named Paddy Pimblett, who had this comment on Instagram:
“if u wanna have a real fight let’s sort it with the UFC if not pipe down! Oh tell ur boss to sign me up when yous come to Fulham’s ground I be ready son”
MJF replied to Pimblett with an invite to AEW’s first UK show in London, England in 2023. No specific date has been announced for that show yet.
“hey bud. AEW has a show coming up in your neck of the woods. If you’re man enough I’ll gladly show you how real I am.”
McGregor shared a screencap of the TMZ Sports story about MJF’s issues with Pimblett, which led to McGregor admitting that he didn’t know who the “other clown” is in reference to MJF.

The tweet from McGregor got over 32,000 likes and 1,300 retweets with lot of wrestling fans letting McGregor know who MJF is.
In the past, McGregor has exchanged words with some WWE stars on social media and upset some fans as well, but if he’s being honest in his tweet, he really doesn’t know who MJF is.
