Cody Rhodes Set For WWE SmackDown Appearances, Reveals Insane Schedule
Cody Rhodes is heading to SmackDown.
At WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. The American Nightmare will be out for revenge as he looks to finally vanquish Reigns after being defeated by the Tribal Chief at WrestleMania 39.
Rhodes spent much of the second half of 2023 battling Brock Lesnar, before winning the 2024 Royal Rumble. Despite the win, Rhodes initially appeared to step aside to let The Rock challenge Reigns, only to go back on the decision and challenge the champion himself. It’s been reported that The Rock himself made the decision to turn heel and let Rhodes face Reigns.
Ahead of his match at WrestleMania, Rhodes will appear on three episodes of SmackDown — starting on March 1st.
In a post on social media, Rhodes shared his incredible schedule.
Cody Rhodes To Face The Rock?
At Elimination Chamber, Cody Rhodes also laid down an incredible challenge to The Rock. The challenge came after the Hollywood megastar slapped Rhodes at a WrestleMania media event.
After the fighting talk from Rhodes, Rollins said he wouldn’t be letting the star go into battle alone. The comments only added to speculation that Rhodes could team with Rollins to take on Reigns and The Rock on night one of WrestleMania 40.
