Cody Rhodes May Reignite Feud With 7-Time WWE Champion After Survivor Series

Going into Survivor Series this Saturday, Cody Rhodes does not yet have a challenger to his title.

His Undisputed WWE Championship will not be on the line at the premium live event, as he will compete in the WarGames match, which is a 10-man steel cage match.

On the November 24 RAW episode, Roman Reigns did hint at coming for one of the world championships, although he did not specify which.

However, Sam Roberts of Notsam Wrestling discussed a different challenger, while also predicting a loss for the babyfaces in the WarGames match.

One of the users wrote to Roberts, saying Brock Lesnar pinning Cody Rhodes for the win at Survivor Series makes sense while also giving WWE the chance to reignite their rivalry.

When last week’s SmackDown show kicked off, Cody Rhodes found himself battered at the hands of Drew McIntyre.

By the end of the night, he managed to turn the tide in his favor by not only costing Bronson Reed his match in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament but also delivering a scathing promo, verbally attacking his WarGames opponents and Paul Heyman.

The mic work from Rhodes was full of passion, where he spoke about the Rhodes family always being better than the Steiners.

He even mocked Logan Paul’s use of drones while wrestling previously before reminding Brock Lesnar of being the last man to defeat him in WWE.

During a recent episode of the Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray praised the promo and revealed sending Rhodes a personal message to commend his work.
