Cody Rhodes’ Wife Calls Him Out Over Infatuation With Sabrina Carpenter
Cody Rhodes seems to be a big fan of pop singer Sabrina Carpenter.
On the return of his podcast, “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” with Cody Rhodes, the former WWE Champion had his wife Brandi on the show. They were discussing how Brandi sometimes used Instagram to pass the time.
Cody Rhodes and Brandi were discussing the Met Gala, an event that features celebrities in elaborate outfits. Brandi didn’t seem interested in it. That led to a discussion about popular singer Sabrina Carpenter.
Cody: “Sabrina Carpenter was kind of dressed up like me and Gunther.”
Brandi: “You’ve been saying Sabrina Carpenter a lot. Is that like your girl right now?”
Cody: “No, she was dressed in that burgundy…”
Brandi: “I’ve been hearing Sabrina Carpenter a lot.”
Cody: “I think Sabrina Carpenter is a very talented artist.”
At that point, Cody nodded his head at the camera while Brandi was laughing. Cody went on to say he’d love to have her on the pod. They went on to mention that Cody had previously mentioned that he thought Sabrina could be in a live-action film about Rapunzel.
Tiffany Stratton has discussed Sabrina Carpenter in the past, as Stratton has been compared to Carpenter due to their similar looks.
Cody Rhodes Felt like He Stole The Show With Nick Aldis At All In
At the All In PPV in September 2018, which was several months before AEW launched, Cody Rhodes won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title from Nick Aldis, who is the current WWE SmackDown General Manager. While recalling that match, Cody felt that his match had stolen the show that night.
“I thought Nick (Aldis) was such a fun experience because ALL IN, that was the loudest the arena got that night and I don’t think we were the match that was meant to get them that loud, and I remember having a sense of just competitive pride. Not ego, not mad at anybody – that we were the ones that got to steal the show on a show we weren’t supposed to steal.”
