Rhodes has been a babyface for what feels like forever now. Fans and critics have been wanting to see a change in his character. WWE has hinted at a heel turn for Rhodes a few times in the past months, but no drastic steps have been taken in that direction.

Former WWE star Stevie Richards talked about Cody Rhodes’ babyface character on the recent edition of The Stevie Richards Show. Richards suggested that The American Nightmare is in desperate need of a heel turn.

Cody Rhodes Replaced Jacob Fatu For Survivor Series: WarGames

This week on RAW, WWE announced that Cody Rhodes will join Jey Uso and CM Punk against Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Cody Rhodes has replaced Jacob Fatu, who is currently sidelined due to a dental procedure, in WarGames.

I think Cody Rhodes is replacing Jacob Fatu, I don’t have that confirmed. He was not on the original list and Fatu was, I was thinking they’d probably have to replace Jacob Fatu.
The original team was Punk, Roman Reigns – I think Roman Reigns will show up in [Madison Square] Garden. I think Lesnar will show up in the Garden, Lesnar on the heel side, Roman on the babyface side. You still have one more spot for probably Jimmy Uso makes the most sense.
