Cody Rhodes Apologises For WWE Raw Segment

Cody Rhodes is well and truly on the Road to WrestleMania and knows he’ll now definitely face Roman Reigns at the event but now he has issued an apology over his segment on WWE Raw.

Cody Rhodes booked his place in the main event of WrestleMania 39 after he returned to the ring after months out with an injury to win the men’s Royal Rumble. While Rhodes’ place in the main event of WrestleMania was assured, his opponent was anything but as Sami Zayn challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber.

Reigns broke hearts in Montreal as he escaped with his title meaning he will be the one to face The American Nightmare on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

On Raw in Ottawa, Cody Rhodes was addressing his future when he was interrupted once again by Paul Heyman, this time shown on the video screen and wearing a neck brace following the Stunner he received from Kevin Owens.

Heyman got personal with Rhodes once again, discussing Roman Reigns’ life on the road and going so far as to suggest that he could be the one to keep Rhodes’ wife warm at night. While fans expected a fierce rebuttal from Cody Rhodes, his mic time appeared to be cut short, something Rhodes addressed on social media:

“Sorry the mic time got cut short and apologies for losing my temper a bit, but more importantly Ottawa…I wasn’t sure you’d be interested in the merch for The American Nightmare…boy was I wrong , thank you VERY much and next time hopefully I’ll be in action. Wonderful night.”
